Young Professional Programme is a combined program run by Arup, Rijkswaterstaat & TNO to do some cool steel projects. At present, Rijkswaterstaat has a big task in assessing the current state of all the steel bridges in The Netherlands. They do this in collaboration with several engineering firms and other organizations. To encourage young structural engineers in their choice of steel bridges in the infrastructure, the Young Professional Programme was developed. More information on this programme will be delivered in the lecture.
