Following the measures announced by the Dutch Institute for Public Health and Environment (RIVM) and TU Delft, we are obliged to cancel all events until March 31, 2020. Practically this means that U-BASE will cancel all events plannend for Q3 for now:
- Lunch lecture Bouwen met Staal/TNO (18 March)
- Monthly Member Drinks (19 March)
- Coffee and Cake Break (25 March)
- Pubquiz (27 March)
We are monitoring the situation continuously and try to reschedule most of our cancelled/scheduled events. It most likely will take weeks before there is more certainty about this matter.
In the meantime, I’m asking committee members to continue working by staying in contact with each other in a reasonable and responsible way. The committee QQ's are keen to answer questions you might have. All other members I would like to ask to take their individual responsibility regarding health and hygiene by following the guidelines published by the RIVM and TU Delft. The BASE will not be closed, but please avoid gatherings here until further notice.
Besides the worrying developments there is also some positive news. Recently pictures from all past events (yes, the Lustrum Gala included!) are uploaded on the website. Are you looking for something nice to do at home? You could have a look at the member archive in My U-BASE for the non-public photos for some entertainment.
